Welcome to my website! On this website, you will find information about my classroom, my syllabus, my educational philosophy, and more.

I have been teaching for nearly nine years and four of those have been as a middle school teacher. I have taught Math, Science, Social Studies, and English Language Arts. I have also taught a photography elective. This year I am excited to be teaching fifth grade. Reading and writing have always been my passion and I am excited to share that with your children this year! I graduated with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Pacific Union College in beautiful Napa Valley. Next, I went to Fresno Pacific University where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Child Development followed by my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Masters Degree in Education from National University.

On a more personal note, I grew up in the small town of Angwin, overlooking the beautiful city of St. Helena.  When I was nineteen I moved myself to Fresno, CA to live on my own and finish college. I worked as a preschool teacher and preschool director for about five years. During my time of living in Fresno, I met my husband, Justin. We have been together for nearly eight years and married for almost three years. He is my biggest supporter in life, and thoroughly enjoys my classroom stories. We moved to the bay area last summer and are excited to settle in and build our lives here!
